I've got one of the fibre flares and the light it gives off is great BUT, I have had to modify it to prevent it falling apart so often, bumpy roads or even knocking against it can pull it apart. Good old zip ties lol
Talking of rear lights, going to buy red handlebar lights next, plug into the bar ends. These. -

they should be called Flimsy Fibre Flare -

I have just seen some Energizer Glow Sticks, look similar to the Fibre Flare minus the fittings but only cost £5 for two.

Does it flash, and have a siren?
it does flash, but sadly no siren.
I generally have it on solid though so as not to provoke the plod. -

i used to tell everyone how great mine was, now (that the second one has died) I am not very keen on them..

Talking of rear lights, going to buy red handlebar lights next, plug into the bar ends. These.I'm thinking they look like quite a good idea, and take AAA's. Depending how obvious they are when off and don't get stolen, it'd mean you'd never forget your lights.
Anyone else used them?
Could have been avoided yeah.
I've soldered it back together and now it blinks funny, and I think that fucks the warranty.
