Fixed gear drive chain injury

My phone fell into my drivetrain today, it's dead.

There is positively no point in you doing the lottery this week dude. Your luck is running shallow!

I just got back from A+E. Got my finger caught between the chain and the rear cog. Damn near chopped the end of my finger off. Broke the bone.

I have to see a plastic surgeon tomorrow to get it fixed.

That once happened to me. the forefinger went right round between the chain and sproket. finger stayed on but had a funny thimble of my skin that had become detached from the bone up to the first knuckle.

after all the oil had been cleaned out a bit of glue from the doctor and it was ok.

all good now 3 years later but the nail on that finger grows three times slower than the rest of them.

This is the only picture I managed to get last night in my panic. Its all wrapped up now. I have to wait until tomorrow before I can see a surgeon to sort it out. I'll try and get some pictures.

I went to the burns and plastics unit today.

They cleaned it out and gave me a tetanus injection and some antibiotics.

I need to go back for some surgery on my nail bed.
