  • It's absolutely fucking horrible but I want it.
Great album though and it just had its 50th bday a couple months back.

  • While we're at it, here's my Harley Benton JB-75MN cheapo jazz bass that I've acquired back in the summer. Lovely stuff overall, frets are a bit pokey, but other than that it was a bang for like 100 quid.
    Excuse the shitty pic. :)

  • Snap! I have that bass. Amazing for the money but could do with a decent setup - I’ve fiddled with the trussrod and saddle heights but still getting a lot of fret buzz.

  • Previous owner had it set up correctly (and seemingly didn't play too much on it, it's pretty much pristine), so thankfully I don't have that issue. :)

  • Up to two Coloursound pedals now... But I will not rest until I find another Supa, that WAS my sound BITD...

  • PS why am I super tempted by the Mooer Big Red Truck? I can grab one for $79 and free shipping, that's a crazy deal, should've done that instead of building my very disappointing mini board...

  • Really? Cheapest over here is about £175 or something.

Would love something like that to save lugging my board sometimes tho reviews say the trem is a bit choppy and I do love a nice subtle sine wave, me.

  • Probably a scam but who knows??? I'm scared to buy it...

  • Christmas NGD from my spectacular other half! Her choice also which I'm pretty chuffed about. It's so much fun!

  • Such a great colour too. Congrats!

  • It's the best colour! I've always wanted a Capri Orange Fender! Sadly just spotted a neck pocket crack in the finish, wouldn't bother me too much if it's only in the finish but obviously would prefer not to hav a crack in a new guitar! Will pop back to the shop tomorrow and let them assess whether they're happy to do a little refund/ discount or if they want to replace it?

  • What would I need to play at home with headphones with decent sound - maybe something that I can play to backing tracks? All for when kiddie is asleep.

Used to play seriously many moons ago, but sold everything (including an early model PRS to give you an idea of how long ago this is...); kicking around the idea of picking it up again...

  • Just the job, thanks

Reminded me of a rockman thing I had a million years ago (and totally forgotten about until I read a review of the waza)

  • Or a Boss Katana, with a decent set of phones? Will come in a lot cheaper than the Waza Air.

  • Can you stream music with the Katana? (tried searching but couldnt find this)

  • I'm sure it has a line-in if streaming is not possible. The Yamaha THR amps can though I believe..

  • THR have a line in but no bluetooth I don't think.. I have the littlest one and I love it.

  • New pedalboard power supply day, really impressed with this little thing... AU$179...

  • Is that the THR5 ? I had play with the 10 in the yamaha store yesterday - its all very impressive from the days when solid states were the ubiquitous practise peaveys.

I'd have to actually buy a guitar as I sold everything including a very nice PRS a long time ago. Mmm decisions

  • Yeah, I got one for £100 off ebay.

Sure someone on here will sell you something nicer than you'll find in any music shop.

Just to noodle around on again? If so, Squier have improved massively and still cheap as. Check out their 'Custom Vibe' range, which seem better than most Fenders from Mexico.

  • Dropped the partscaster off with a tech to cut the nut and set it up. Slightly annoyed that it needs some fretwork, which ain’t cheap. Still looking forward to finally playing the thing!

  • thanks - the 70s cv strat looks like a possibility; also maybe the SE std PRS. Lots of choice at the £3-400 level. Need to think also about the new v secondhand thing - not sure about buying guitars sight unseen though
