Isn't a refin crazy money now? What are we talking, ballpark?

Cool story alert... When I was much younger and even stupider than what I is now, I thought it would be ace to get my Tele Deluxe refin'd Olympic White with a matching headstock... OK, well ahead of the curve trendwise but I'm very happy I didn't do it... Someone I know bought the white Squier reissue a couple of years back and it does look great, but...

Fortunately I was always broke when I was a musician so, etc...

£200+ probably. More for bursts, metallics, glitter etc.

Think you could probably save a bit on that if it didn’t need stripped first.

It is, yeah. What gives it away?

Shape of the headstock tip, just ever so slightly blobby instead of a kinda super-rounded triangle. I only know 'cos I have one... birdseye maple with a 1" deep boat profile, it's been waiting for me to get inspired for years. Great necks...

Damn I need to get on and get my tele together. I just need to order the pickups and pick up a few screws...

Is the rosewood (?) tele neck going to get screwed to a rosewood body?

That would be totally George and totally fab... I remember when Fender guitar first reissued those Rosewood Teles, really wanted one for some strange reason...

I'm still amp shopping btw. Basically I'm looking for OG SF Fenders. List is currently:

SF Bassman 50
SF Deluxe Reverb
SF Pro Reverb

Also looking at reissue, AC15s, Tweed Bassman, BF DRs and PR's. I'm sure they're all fine amps and I'd grab one if came up at a bargain price, but the snob in me wants an original. I love SF fenders and as mentioned earlier, the prices for new reissues is comparable with well used 70s SFs so I think it's just a case of waiting till the right one crops up.

A late 60s Bassman head popped up over here for around $1k the other day, crazy cheap money...

I don't even wanna think about the '71 Super Bass that was going for only $1.5k with a cab... I should've bought it instead of the JCM900 but what am I gonna do with a non master volume 100 watt head?!?
