  • Nice tone bender.

Someone fucking cool built that one ...

  • Have ordered both. As in the small power supply and the gator board in a case.

Curse/bless you "pay with Paypal/Amazon". It's far too easy.

Fun news about the pedal TS. Hope it's something suitably throbbing and gristly

  • Ha. yep.

Doesn't get much use but I'm hoping the pedalboard will encourage me to drag out the electrified guitar a bit more often.

  • My wee boy is fascinated by my guitar...

I got in home last night and he ran over to the amp and started screaming in excitement. One man fan base.

  • The battery in the tone-bender is the one that was in there when I bought if off some guy. It's very flat. Sounds like velcro.

  • May get him one of those little kiddie guitars. Probs smash it to bits tho...

  • Duuuuuuude.

You get holy grail fuzz tones with drained batteries.

Just make sure you are recoding...

  • That's so cool. My little girl is nearly 6 months now and she goes crazy kicky legs and grins when I pick up the guitar and sing for her. It's the only thing that stops the "being taken out of the bath" tantrum.

I plugged the electric for the first time in months on on Sunday and received frowns of disapproval from my wife. After a few minutes ripping it up with the Klone and Tonebender bubs got sleepy and had to be picked up for a nap. I managed to play her off to sleep with a very gentle echo reverb and tremolo drenched rendition of "you are my sunshine".

    A winner is me.

  • Yes indeed. It makes me wonder if you could set up a fuzz to run on a lower voltage battery to provide permanent flat battery sounds. I've seen pedals with knobs to replicate the flat battery rip but never heard of a pedal modded to run that way permanently.

  • That's one reason I was gonna go with the Decibel Eleven Hot Stone Deluxe, ten isolated outputs including two variable outputs for drained battery awesomeness... Dial in the required power, get 'brown'...

  • Ludicrous power supply procrastination on my part, in the time I've been dawdling about which one to buy I've bought the Les Paul, an AC15, four new pedals and put a payment down on the Mosrite beast... And the pedalboard, obvs... I need to sort that out, it'll be nice to have a full pedalboard in the mancave...

  • Nice. Cheap and cheerful for me this month. Had to pay for two studio sessions this month and bought new a stereo amp. And headphones. Actually... I'm probably bankrupt.

Anyone want to buy a pedal board?

  • You're not caning your wages at the pub now the sprog's here... Emigrating to Queensland has had a similar effect for me, £30 at the off licence is a big week for me and booze is £€¥$ here! Frees up the guitar spend... Long may it continue...

  • ^Trufax.

Moving out to Kentfordshire should free up cash too... although the amazing Shepherd Neame pub 100m from my front door is going to be hard to pass on the way home every night.

  • Yes you can, there's a cable for that. I don't know what it's called but I've used it on my own board. There are effects though (like my new delay) for which the 240mA of a doubled output aren't enough. So check your power consumption first. (And hope that it's correctly specified...)

@Apone I actually used that board. It's solid. The bag works well and there's a space underneath for a power supply (but iirc the Harley Benton one is just too big to fit). Also the cable routing can get a bit messy on this. If that is a concern to you.

This one: http://www.thomann.de/gb/palmer_mi_pedalbay_40.htm is of similar size and has a space for a power supply underneath which fits the powerplant (I own the one one size larger and it does fit) Also the "open" construction allows for neat cable routing. All zip-tied up here.

edit: Newpage fail. Just saw you already bought the gator. Don't worry it's solid. could be a little bit of a faff fitting the power supply underneath though.

  • Ah. That's exactly the combination Rickster recommended two pages back. I'll see if I can amend the order. Ta.

  • Thomanns customer service is quite stellar usually.
I have spent a lot of money there...

  • Me too. Spent many a hungover afternoon wandering round the warehouse in Cologne too.

  • Got very drunk with these two last night. Funsies.

  • pedals for staempunk cockwhiffers.

  • That's absurd and sort of brilliant.

  • Bet Jack White has one
