I was interested in one of these but the lack of shops to try one in put me off. In the end I got a Darkglass B7K which I'm really, really happy with. I mostly use it in front of my amp as a warm cleanish boost but it also does gritty / fat distortion really well. Decent DI for recording to boot.

Not cheap but totally worth it.

Some guy out here is getting rid of a Fender Bandmaster VM 2 x 12 cab, he's looking for an AC15... Funny that...

I'm thinking of trading, the AC15 is great but I'd rather get my Solton head running... How will it sound with a 50w HiWatt soundalike going through it?

I think the AC15's maybe worth more, plus certainly a lot easier to shift, and Celestion Seventy 80's could be a bit too harsh and toppy for the Solton. The reviews aren't great.

Why do left handed guitarists look so weird from behind?

I mean, cool from the front. But every time you see a shot of Hendrix, Cobain etc from behind looking out from the stage i'm always stuck by how odd it looks.

Also, why is Clapton so hated in hip circles? Never been a huge fan. Can't stand 99% of cream's output. And anything from the 80s onwards is obviously awful. But he always seems like a pretty sweet, humble dude whenever I see interviews and he's done some stuff I really dig, especially in the early 70s. Derek etc. I'm vaguely aware of mutterings of racism... what gives?
