Any able to print waterslide decals or know where to get them? Just want gain/volume.

Stuck a nice goff bigsby on the LP earlier. I’d been switching up the hardware to black after fitting the p-rails anyway and a nice deal turned up on reverb. Cant wait to wrestle it into a case for next rehearsal

Those P-rails look awesome - you rate them?

Heck no. I use various forms of dymo in my workshop all the time, hate the stuff 😅
I’ll probably just sharpie it. -

Yeah, big fan. The triple shot rings are awesome too, I can set it to a single rail bridge and humbucker neck for some classic Keith Richard’s tele tones

You can buy sheets of waterslide paper on Amazon/eBay and print them off at home, have done in the past for pedals and works very well, though it needs a layer of clear coat or it'll scratch instantly. Only thing to check is that you're getting laser/inkjet as needed as those are different.

Oh cool, I had no idea that was a thing, thanks, will look into it.
Yeah spraying lacquer etc is no big deal. Need to find a nice shade of red for the housing :) -

All of his videos are a great watch, went down that rabbit hole recently!

I have 6 Dunlop guitar picks if anyone is interested? I can pop them in an envelope and post them.
Not looking to make a profit on these so if you want to make a donation to the forum to cover the postage, that would be mega.

Random question- how famous is the luthier Paul Fischer?
-
• #15290
Fischer, maybe? Classical feller? Not my bag but seems to be lots online.
*Ah you edited. Yep. have you got one?

Found one down Brixton Market? Never heard of him, very pricey!

Buy the guitar you always wanted and leave it in the living room…. give him six months and he’ll be better than me.
Really rate the thr5 - btw - I resisted for ages. It does such a good job at low volumes for noodling. The styling + form factor lets it sit nicely in the living room without looking too muso gear cave. The tacky faux tube lighting …. also very cute imho. I think you just need to make peace with it in no way being a ‘real’ amp. Adjust you expectations and accept it’s more than good enough for playing blues scale in front of the telly.

Agree it looks way better than spark, katana etc etc

First little go populating the main board. Hopefully didn’t cook anything.
Will go to the next step after work tomorrow.

Got into a bit of a roll with it. Got as far as the testing stage(no switch or led yet).
It bloody well works!

The main problem with the THR5 is not being able to resist the temtation to crank the built in chorus, delay and reverb and play Purple Rain. Every time.

Have you seen the way Wendy plays that?!? Of course it's in E or B flat or something. Fuck me, no thanks, I'll carry on playing it the super easy, but very wrong, cowboy chord way, TYVM.
Red llama kit ordered. Hopefully I’ll just build this one and get the urge out of my system.
