I'm going to hold off ordering for a little while longer just to give people a shot. Since I'm not even in on the Shorts and Siglo's and have enough people offering to pay in front, then I can order a couple more.

Not much progress on the Hoyo du Prince. Still, happy to see some off-the-beaten path selections getting picked. Pleasantly surprised at the Bachilleres to be honest.

And I'm sorry that there isn't more interest in the Hoyo series - I loved the hoyo des dieux, and would love to get involved, but I'm already spending £60+... Okay, closing this up. I will be looking at ordering the Shorts, Siglo II, Sancho Panza and a tenner box of Monte 2's.

Just thought i would give you guys a heads up - Cigars Ltd has these pocket Humidors on sale - they are great for carrying 2 cigars around, particularily if your on a bike! Smaller one will fit 2 x 50 ring gauge petit corona or robusto cigars, larger one will fit 2 x Coronas - i have seen these fo double the price else where. I sent a PM to everyone on the list. I apologise for the form letter approach but it made it easier.

Based on past experience I would expect once I place the order the boxes will start trickling in within a week and I should have them all within two weeks.

Collection will be same as before. My work in Covent Garden, SE Beers or East Beers are ideal but arrangements for other options can be made.

VV, that looks like a nice carrier. Do you know if the tubes come out of the case or if it's all one piece?

If those caps stay on well, that looks like it would do the job nicely. I have a couple of individual carrying tubes but would like a double. I often want to carry more than one cigar but my cases that hold 5 are a bit bulky.

Everyone's replied with payment arrangements so the cigars have been ordered. I will let you all know when items ship and when I get them.

On another note, I plan to check out my local in the States when I'm there in March. If anyone of you guys have a burning desire for a non-Cuban let me know and I'll see what they're going for.

There used to be good deals to be had. I know they introduced the S-chip tax which jacked all the prices up so I don't know what things go for anymore. I won't be buying boxes or anything but if you're interested in a single or two let me know.

The tubes do come out of the case, and the top is screwed on - they were originally designed by a US pilot who wanted a way to take his cigars with him, and needed an airtight container, so had them made out of aircraft grade aluminum. My Mrs Dad has one, and keeps it i his glovebox,you can leave the cigars in it for up to 2 months without them going off.

Has anyone ever been to a cigar event? I'm quite interested in going to one, but from the ones I've found on the net, I cant help thinking that they might be really pompous, posh events - with a bunch of wankers in bow-ties chatting about the stock-market...
