Love the Reyes, Trinidad is pretty much my favorite marca these days.
Just got back from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and Hunters & Frankau had a stand where a chap from Partagas was hand rolling - got a couple of robustos rolled up, smoked one there and then straight after it was rolled, was a very different but great taste, smoked incredibly smoothly. First time with a fresh cigar, definitely recommend it if you ever get the chance.

Anyone up for a July herf?
-
• #1205
Yeah.
If we get lucky with the weather I'll smoke one or two at Easts tonight.

Due to extremely bad luck, I won't be making it to Easts for the next 3 months or so. :(

3 points:
. Simon Chase looks different to how I remember him...
. Simon Chase is a very knowledgeable man.
. For the love of God, man - stop waving that box of Partagas around like they were rolled last week! -

I busted my right wrist into 5 pieces, or busted 5 pieces off, not quite sure what the doctor said. I got two plates put in and the fragments removed from the joint. Six days at Royal London to get it fixed but a lot of that was bad timing. Fridays aren't a good day to have to go in on the emergency surgery list.
Coming out of the surgery was three hours of the worst pain I've ever felt. Partly because it was dressed too tight but I have a sneaking suspicion the anaesthesiologist botched it. It felt like there was no anaesthesia for my arm. I tried to HTFU but massive, repeated doses of morphine seemed to be the best medicine.
John, thanks again for following up with me. I really appreciate that.

What are airport duty frees like for cigars?
Heading to Tunisia later in the year, would it be worth getting smokes at the airport? -
• #1221
Grrr! DoublePost

Duty free is much cheaper than buying them here. I've never been to impressed with the prices at Heathrow when flying to the States, but I'm sure it's better than local. I have no idea what the duty free is like in Tunisia but tourist and business destinations generally have good selections. And at a duty free you can be pretty certain that they're authentic.

I'm going to see what Gatwick have, I doubt Djerba airport will have anything of note.
Take a supply as backup incase all else fails. -

I have been totally unimpressed by duty free prices within the last x1 year or so. Often, they're not too different from buying through well priced online retailers.
The best-priced EU airport seems to be Frankfurt (with a mahoosive humidor). Zurich is pretty good too.
Terminal 5 at H'Row is well stocked, but prices are only decent if you're heading to non-EU destinations.

Yeah I wouldn't say duty free is a good deal. I find Swiss prices in the store cheaper than duty free
