spending 3 days in HK on the way to Japan in early May. Staying with a friend (not sure where she lives exactly) but keen to get some recommendations of things to do during the daytime.

raffles hotel bar for the cowloon island shots or just along the waterfront on the mainland
top of victoria peak / the furnicular for pictures onto the main landday trips to macau / visit the large buddah on one lan tau island and the village life on that island ... the fish market is interesting to photograph
walk along harcourt road from old worlde china to 21st century china in 20 mins tiny back streets full of traders to the skyscrapers built for the multinationals

tbh, went with my mum and be both said it was alright...stuff they had wasn't typical, so 'variety' was good.
