Try one of londons guided walks or volunteer sessions - you meet loads of interesting people. and it beats drinking in the pub of an evening. you also get to speak to people and more often than not get a buzz from realising there are great people out there.

I met my missus through the Guardian site. 18 months in, moving in together on Tuesday, so we're a success story. I never thought I would use a dating site but when my last long-term finished a couple of years ago I thought fuck it, why not? It's what you make it.
