  • Aww come on man.. I've shaved!

I do look good in that helmet though..

  • You'd look good in a bin bad.

  • This thread was way ahead of its time.

  • So let me get this straight, who are the 'moderators' on this forum now? Obviously there's Velocio, and am I right in thinking that WiganWill and Hippy have some 'special powers'? Just want to understand who the wardens are...

(All the talk of banning and merging is boring the shit out of me)

  • Can this thread be merged with the I HATE thread, and then and merged with the I LOVE thread, alternatingly on a daily basis?

Myself and SkyDancer are moderators on the Cycle Training forum; just like RPM is on the track forum, Nhatt and Clefty are on the Ladies forum and Horatio and others are on the polo forum. We don't have the power to ban anyone. We can delete/edit posts and merge threads but I don't think any of us would do any of those things without consulting the poster or OP first.

  • Who's the moderator for the LIST threads?

    Just wondering like............

  • There isn't one.

This forum isn't moderated in any capacity, it is merely administered.

What's the difference? Moderation implies censoring and filtering of messages which we do not do beyond an automatic spam system (Akismet), and administration implies simply that we take care of minimal administrative tasks like merging threads, deleting spam, etc.

So the lists threads aren't moderated.

As for the notion of moderating lists threads, all of the areas in which people are administrators are at the forum level. People have been given the power to take care of keeping sub-sections (defined as forums) generally in order. The software has no ability to delegate such taks on a per thread basis.

So if the question is, "Who, of those with basic administrative powers, has the rights to merge and delete stuff within the Bikes & Bits forum?". Then the answer will always be: Check the "Forum Leaders" from the home page, and anyone with Administrator or Super Moderator roles has that power, as does anyone with the Moderator role who is delegated to the Bikes & Bits forum.

  • Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh. ;)

  • Mr.Mergatron, please consider merging the GUM WALL, GUMWALL and SKINWALL threads please.

  • Done

  • that thread was closed.

  • I know ;] attempted humour.

  • They should be merged, though.

  • I know ;] attempted humour.

    With a german.

    You should know better.

    Sorry Mr S.

  • Why with me? I only started the thread. Actually, Andy, careful analysis of the humour of Will's post reveals that there's nothing wrong with it. :)

  • can we have a naughty step for forumers who act like twats?

  • You could entice them onto it with a bike for sale maybe?

  • can we have a naughty step for forumers who act like twats?

That would be a very big step.

  • what like a floor??

  • 5th floor.
