One thing that seems to be happening on the forum a lot lately is that the number of duplicate repost threads has really increased (e.g., seven or eight for the 'Performance' video and loads for the German trick cyclists' video). Velocio has adopted a policy of merging these duplicate threads, which creates a lot of work for him. I thought it might be helpful to have a single thread where helpful forumengers can point out these duplicates so that he doesn't have to search for them if he wants to carry on merging them.

There should probably a list in the OP of the standard threads, like helmets, that have been merged, to facilitate finding them. I haven't made one yet but may edit it into this OP later. Please post if you have particular threads that you want to see merged, if you want to suggest particular threads as the default threads on any given topic, etc.

Just a bit of housekeeping. With 20-odd thousand threads, UTFSing is going to be more and more difficult.

Well he thought it was a good idea. I don't give a crap either way since one is a neat solution and the other lets me vent at idiots that repeat shit.
