To add the caveat my problem is more with the kind of people who spend their time crawling the obscure parts of the Internet to find people to make fun of rather than those enjoying these images.

i've recently discovered someone in my department is a steampunk larper.

he's also had his name changed by PDP to his myspace handle.

tbf i've never really had a conversation with him so he's probably lovely.

My Mum has just got into steampunk, and was absolutely horrified when I told her I thought it was shit. She even went to the international steampunk museum in New Zealand.

Truly that is my idea of hell.
