No, not really. A couple of the entries afforded me a wry smile of dark humour at their absurdity beyond invention, but nothing further than that.
As ever, the most plausible reason is usually the right one and, in this instance, it certainly is. Of the most obvious threads where that post might be found, the Epic Fail one would rank high among them. I wonder how much it says about your views on humanity in general that you thought it more plausible that I was cackling loudly at firearm death and violence than I had simply posted in the wrong thread? Still, in the spirit of positivity, I shall take it as flattery that you have been taken in by my shoddy facade of technical competence.

Mind you, the people who need to be told that probably struggle with the English, so they're hardly likely to appreciate the joke.

As my physics teacher used say....
Try it once and you merely a curious soul that lacks knowledge.
Try it twice and you're probably a bit of a cretin.(during Van der Graff demonstrations)

It is a profession which seems to attract more than its fair share of bastards, but then so would coffee dealing if that were prohibited.
Fun fact: the USA didn't feel any need to limit private citizens' access to machine guns until the disastrous experiment with alcohol prohibition went the way every sensible person knew it would.

Cha, if people are willing to take the (in my view) unnecessary cost in human life, that's up to them. But yes, once people have something and you try to take it, good luck and have fun.
Legal drugs use doesn't kill (very many, unless prescription drugs in USA/paracetamol) people, and as you rightly point out the war on drugs does. But such nuances are lost on the general audience, generally speaking as of course some people do know, and only cause a massive amount of shitstormness if you run a group to change something.
