Slightly dull and not a meme, but old fashioned safety razors are much better value and give a better shave - especially if you have thick hair.

I've got the Edwin Jagger DE89 and am still working my way through various blades to see which I like. The razor was c£25 and you should be able to pick up x100 blades for £10-20.
