There's an Alpha course poster I keep seeing with a photo of a confused hipster and all these strange scantily punctuated phrases around him like "pub again" "what's the point".

They remind me loads of those strange doge memes I don't really get, I laf evrtim.

Maybe I'm just over tired, but I find it unintenionally hilarious

The first time I saw one of those alpha ads, think it was on a bus, it said something along the lines of 'so many questions''answers?' Etc. was really hoping it was for WolframAlpha instead of whatever bollocks it actually is.

I actually went to an alpha meeting once. The lass I was yentzing was religious and she wanted me to come and see what it was all about.

If you're interested, it was a bunch of middle aged people who had recently suffered differing levels of personal difficulty and tragedy and who had decided that God is the only answer.

I remember one chap who swears that God saved him the moment he was run over by a lorry as he left a pub after an all day drinking session.

Oh well, if thats what makes them happy them good luck I say.

A row may have recently completely directly above that line, clipping the upper square from that green block on the left. SO, no you don't 'get' blocks like that but this is mid-game, at what looks like a crucial juncture and is therefore an entirely plausible Tetris scenario. (quite an intense piece to put in a stair well)

I guess you wouldn't have experience of that if your ability confined you to the lower levels. So don't sweat it yeh. Both of you just relax in the knowledge that some people really know their stuff, yeh?

My old bandmate came second at the UK Tetris championships back in the early 90s... He cracked under the pressure and didn't do as well as he could've...
