Fake trees piss me off for this purpose.
Assuming correct maintenance of both the tree/mast equipement there's no reason they couldn't be installed discreetly into live trees(preferably conifers or thujas due to their dense crowns, and they're shit, non-native trees anyway) as opposed to the laughable attempts pictured above.
