They're less likely to be able to catch up with you if you're running away. But who needs to catch up with somebody in order to shoot 'em in the head?

at physical exertion yes. There are in-shape out-of-shape guys, but you can tell who are the out-of-shape out-of-shape guys and they're the guys you wouldn't trust to exert themselves while armed.
