Currently on the new Fighting Fantasy book. It's awesome.

What are you on about? Why pretentious? When are they more middle class or more so than an iPad? Are they useless, really? Nerds, what? Stop whinging.
Because they're used for reading books. Rather than browsing inane websites full of useless drivel.

• #35781
Exactly. Books are for schools.

Are you 12?

I take it you have one then?
No way, can't bear them.
Ha!
Because every other one on here moans about ponces with iPad when it's clearly the Kindle folk we should watch for. The next thing, you know. The next collective enemy after Apple and then Google - Aaaaaamazon! Ooooooooooooooooo. Fuck off. Get a useful device.
"Oh no, iPad is for chavs who get it from PC World. David and I only read organic recipes and excerpts from Guardian on our Kindles"
Blah blah blah blah blah! >>>>>>>>>>>>

No porn, no talk."Oh, I read books of authors you've never heard about"

Is it specifically Kindles that we're against here or any type of e-reader? Kobo lets you read public domain unlike the Kindle :D
-
• #35786
Who gives a fuck? It's a format. Why waste time worrying about what's cool? I know what* isn't* cool and that's worrying about what format your words are displayed on.
-
• #35787
Well some people buy into brand identity or go against something a priori because of it. I've seen it and find it interesting. So that is why I give a fuck. It piques my interest.

I'm not against anything. It's just pisses me off when Kindle users justify their choice with their elitism. I read books too, you know, but can also access Pornhub.com

Mike, I wasn't talking to you, soz.

Does this actually happen or is it just a suspicion of yours?
-
• #35791
More of a complex.

Are you 12?
..why do you want to know?
PEADO ALERT
-
• #35793
It does happen. You know, people are cunts.
By the way, I think I've been using my iPad for PDFs with illustrations mainly (apart from browsing and shit).
If I was reading books only then I'd go for Kindle myself, as it's easier on ribs and wrists. -
• #35794
No worries :)

The Walking Bill meme has exploded on the polo memes thread, can't post them all here.
-
• #35796
Are you 12?
Why? Are you suggesting that someone cannot enjoy things that are intended for out of their demographic age bracket?
On the memes thread? Reality check dude.
And the new FF book has been released for the 30th anniversary, and intended for people that enjoyed them first time round, i.e. when they were twelve, therefore written for an adult readership.

The page has magic electronic ink pixels that can be turned to a shade of black/grey depending on voltage applied to them (I guess) once the page has been drawn it stays as it is without requiring more power until you refresh it next.
Fiddy shades?
