Incorrect. Star Wars: a New Hope = 1977, Empire Strikes Back = 1980, Return of the Jedi = 1983. Photoshop (originally Display) = 1987, for showing grey on b+w screens IIRC. I think ILM were involved but I can't remember how and I'd rather be outside in the sun than google it :)
(Rowhan is also incorrect in his Photoshop 1.0 assertion for reasons too mundane to go into) -

Just being daft....
My ultimate point was that the picture of that 'funny' sign is older than time (almost). The 1.0 reference was a lame attempt at saying "it really wasnt ever going to fool anyone"... or something... -
