It felt exciting being 18-19 and seeing this thing just go “woosh”.

I was at Paleo the festival where the crowd lobbed bog roll at Oasis and they flounced off stage. I was not watching them as there were many more interesting people playing there Buena Vista Social Club, Kittin, Felix Da Housecat, 4 Hero, Plastique Bertrand, Beck, Saian Super Crew, Tikiman, Michael Mayer.

Coincidentally, I listened to In Heaven a couple of days ago, out of curiosity more than anything else. Had forgotten how much I loved Psycho For Your Love as a teenager. The big surprise was listening to the Clapham South Escalators straight afterwards, Leave Me Alone is so good, the perfect 60s punk pastiche.

Hadn't listened to any of that stuff in close to forty years. 😬
