What inspires you to keep this business going for your clients and for the people who need your services?
Is she running a charity?
I'm tempted by the free 15 minute consultation.

how do you lot generally expense trips?

I gave it some lovely top spin and urgency
wtf is top spin?
-
• #1761
It's when you hit up through and slightly over the top of a ball, most often in a racquet sport, to make it spin forwards as it travels.

Totally appropriate to use when talking about sending a presentation then.

Bit different from usual, but applicable I think:
Our new Sawtooth dimple design consists of 12 nodes that are precisely clocked to start aerodynamic shearing at a rate of 50Hz at a rider speed of 20mph,” says Zipp’s marketing collateral. “Sawtooth accomplishes this by inducing small sheet vortices that shed at a low magnitude, but at a higher natural frequency, thus decreasing the laminar bubble effect on the aerodynamically shielded side of the rim’s profile to further reduce high yaw drag and improve crosswind stability.”

That sounds about 60% scientific and 40% bullshit.

reduce high yaw drag
I'll reduce high you're drag in a minute.
The most objectionable thing on there was the word "collateral".

'low hanging fruit' makes me cringe. Fine if you work in apricots or you're a short quadruped herbivore.

WTF is a 'cohort'?

cohort
500 roman soldiers. 6 centuriae of about 85 men each.

"I do think the organisation is immeasurably more robust and competent to weather change than it was..."
-
• #1774
Tto be fair, the only really questionable thing is use of 'immeasurably' for something that's probably impossible to measure anyway (unless you are a bank), as 'weather' in this context is pretty well accepted way of saying endure.

I think I may have reached a stage where I'm so beset by management wonk that even plain English takes on strange new meanings...
No relation. I think.
