Tto be fair, the only really questionable thing is use of 'immeasurably' for something that's probably impossible to measure anyway (unless you are a bank), as 'weather' in this context is pretty well accepted way of saying endure.

I think I may have reached a stage where I'm so beset by management wonk that even plain English takes on strange new meanings...
