  • Leaning, not to be tried by mortals.

  • How much gobbing off is Cav going to be doing today? I predict a veritable torrent of abuse at the non-believers.

  • @andyp - yup....urgh. He should just STFU, HTFU and do it again tomorrow. That'd be the best answer.

    Long stage tomorrow....

    Lives in hope.

  • Well done Cav. That was a lovely sprint. Stage tomorrow looks noice.

  • Cav wasn't shoulder to shoulder with Thor - it was Renshaw, with Cav sitting on Renshaw's wheel

  • didn't say he was, but he's big enough to look after himself. might of been the tactic cav have another rider on his inside between him and thor.

  • ^ fourteenwinters saw it different from you and I

  • Cav 'n' Thor were having a lean on each other at the start of the sprint yesterday too.

  • blubbed like a little girl on the podium though. disappointing. We need to set ourselves apart from the volatile Europeans a bit, show a bit of backbone.

  • He's Manx*, not British.

Unless he wins, or doesn't cry, or gob off, or do a rude gesture, or gets sent to bed by Cuddly Bob without any dinner for being rude to a journalist, or wears a white suit, then he's British.

  • missed kills 5+ prostitutes

    Land of our birth
    O gem of gods earth
oh Island so strong and so fair
    Built firm as Barule
    Thy throne of home rule
Makes us free as the sweet mountain air

    weeps

  • Congratulations General Lucifer......

    20p richer.
    :)

  • My commute this week - Balham to Elephant

Mon - down through clapham junction to the river, taking in the 2 'pave' sections of Battersea high st.

Tues / Wed - straight down Clapham high st, Oval, Kennington in the peloton. Through the roundabout section @ Elephant before a final sprint into work.

Thurs / Fri - over the col du Tulse and col du Herne for the toughest stage.

I should probably get out a bit more.

  • no TT?

  • I saw someone commuting in full FDJ kit this morning. What a twat.

i wondered why you blanked me.

  • Fucking hell. Cav's crying?

Poor misunderstood soul! Well, maybe not but well in-must've been tough after yesterday.

  • I saw a dude this morning in full Team Sky kit.

    As I passed him.

  • cracks me up reading this, yesterday " he looks fucked" today "hes crying"
some writers here are falling foul of the same affliction the world cup wingers had, expectations.
--impossible for us to imagine what it must be like racing in this one,
I for one rate Cavendish as even more real after today- come on Engerland.

  • no TT?

    Damn. Missed opportunity.

Tomorrow I will do 10* circuits of the E&C roundabout before my final sprint.

*or however many times they go round in Paris.

  • don't forget to cut across some nodders and cause the rest of the peloton to come down.
