The replays did look a bit damning for Cavendish. What's still not absolutely clear to me is why he suddenly brought the bike upright though - was the rider on the outside of him preventing him from leaning the bike somehow? I'll be really interested to see that replay once an HD version turns up.

For the record, if I had registered for the fantasy league yesterday, I would be in second. Awesome.

He's got the speed but not the cornering skills. TBH with HTC's lead out I reckon I would have a fair chance of grabbing a stage win.

Boonen's a nobody anyway. Cav will have his fair share this time round providing he can keep from crashing hard.

I think he may have tangled bars with the guy he leaned on and got dragged up when the other bloke tried to pull away from him.
