Three other former U.S. Postal riders told the Journal in interviews that there was doping on the team during the time Mr. Armstrong was its lead rider, and one of them admitted that he himself had doped.

Well, Landis is no longer alone in his accusations, but names are not named. We'll see how this plays out tomorrow.

Where is it televised?

HTC-Columbia team info provided by an HTC legend carried by the riders: http://www.google.com/intl/en/landing/mytrackstour/

that is so geeky.
I love it.

• #211
Still no actual evidence from Landis though.. :S
-
• #212
He's sad he doesn't have any before. But the fact other riders have actually come out and said he's not lying - to the WSJ, not him claiming other riders have - is a pretty big deal, imo.
-
• #213
Yeah but no evidence is no evidence. How are they going to prosecute when ages after the fact a few riders are now saying it's all true. Too little too late.
-
• #214
Who knows whether any can be found? That's the investigator's job. As a potential witness, Landis may be able to point them in the right direction, but that's all he can do.

• #215
Oof it's hot and sweaty here... just did a 5 minunte spin on the rolla bikes and I'm now sweatting like the proverbial paedo in a lido.

Witness statements are actually evidence. Trek confirming team bikes were being sold is potentially great evidence. Sales income accounted for how? Throw in tax evasion too.
Follow the money trail.

This ^^.
It's far more serious than any previous investigation because it's being carried out by law enforcement agencies, not anti-doping bodies.

What about this afternnoon?
i'm attempting to negotiate an escape but i have to go to some "dinner" in "west london" for which i apparently have to "wear" a "shirt".

That Google/HTC thing is great!

Contador (last rider) time is I think 19.30 here, so do something clever with the euro clock thing and that'll tell you. We've got a schedule list somewhere that I can grab.

Wiggo is off early (20s?), swapping his 'leader' place with another on his team in the hope of avoiding rain..
-
• #225
And it's going to rain. You can feel it.
The 2 positive domestic dope tests.
Dan Staite (who?) alegedly tested positive for EPO in March is small fry though the delay in making it public is weird.
The other rider is more high profile and on one of the Uk UCI teams and the smart money is on a former plan stalwart, olympic medalist and multiple world champion. Even if it isn't him it appears that his career long charging could well come out in to the open and that is going to leave BC with some very awkward questions to answer. And as BC and SKY are run by the same people it won't be good for them. Particularly as Sutton is regularly publically accused of doping by at least one former teammate.
