this is just a post to remember and pay respect the riders that go off the back and dont quite make it.
its easy to think that the rider at the back is a bit pants, however evry rider in the tour could easily win every race that i have ever been in including the one from south beers to camberwell green with vello or multigrooves.
i just wanted to reflect on life, be humble and pay respects that was all. -

Coppi, you remind of a quote about the Tour; "You can never beaten the Tour, only that it hasn't beaten you yet".
something along those line.

WTF has Thomas Voeckler got around his neck? Looks like an explosive neck collar straight from The Running Man.
That my friend is doping in the 21st century. "Win or we blow your (insert your prefered expletive) head off".
Although it could be his shades.....

It's probably a variant of those stupid aura bracelets that most of Team Sky are wearing (No, not Livestrong bands). The crystal powers are more easily transferred into the body the closer to the head they're worn - Voeckler is clearly a pro.

Although it could be his shades.....You mean the other ones, the ones that aren't currently on his face?*
*I did think the same thing but wasn't silly enough to type it before looking at his face to see if he had any on.

Maybe the energy rays from saturn that these things harness help prevent the negative chai energy force known as L'ean?

He'll try I'm sure. Today is the first real mountain stage of the Tour so it's time for the GC riders to start asserting their authority.

looking forward to seeing Robert Gesink (finally) having a good day! and of course if the big names will allow an escape...
I think you mean the FDA (Food and Drugs Administration). I know how you like the facts to be right. ;-)
