Also, I made some DIY polo shoes back in the pre-DZR days. They are Nike SB Omar Salazar, navy with gum sole. They have solid Shimano foot plates glued in. They feel solid with little wear on the sole. Also they have a stash pocket in the tongue. They work with Time and SPD. £15 PM

They have a good strap system: two straps meet at the single velcro tab, so the pad is secured above and below the calf but there is only one tab undo. Better than knee-shin pads with umpteen straps IMO. Up to you. PM if interested. I'd be happy to swap for money too.
