I don't get you, yes you van build any hub fix into any rim you wnat, and them use it in any bike you want
in case of a MTB, the rear spaceing is 135, (if I remember correctly) so you will need a longer axel, Surly sell one for this porpusethat's this anwser your dudes?
BTW, the one in the picture is fix/disck brake, but if you follow the link you can see that there are 5 or 6 differnet model, fix/fix, fix/free. free/disk....

yeah i know but i meant can you buy a complete 26" wheel as thats what my polo bike takes. that has a free/fixed hub. I've seen people with them but wasn't sure if they had bought all the parts the hub the rim and spokes and made them up or bought it already made. If that make sense.
If not nevermind. -

What spokes are people using for polo builds? my wheel has basically died, so trying to start my first build, 3x on-one hub (had it lieing around) onto regina sputniks, but i have zero knowledge of spokes.

I'm using Sapim Strong. Had them for a month. I haven't had discs on for that time and we had league games against ELKs, La Schmoove and Cosmic (Spinal Tap Out as well but they do not hit the ball as hard) as well as twice weekly play. Not one has even bent. I imagine the nipples would break before the spokes. The downside? 50p a spoke.
