Does anyone happen to have a bolt for a seatpost clamp (the part that holds the saddle on, not the part that tightens the frame around the seatpost) that fits into the top part of the seatpost clamp? The top part of the clamp is also the nut. I need the bolt.

I need the space behind the kitchen door back so does anyone want [for free] most of an old polo bike to start playing on:
mid 90s MTB frame (strong but heavy, suitable for someone about 6ft)
FSA headset
700c fork
2 x 26" rear wheels (both pretty wrecked from polo but they still have *some *life)
26" front wheel (not so wrecked)
Assorted 26" tyresObviously you can go freewheel and use a v-brake. Apparently this is the future.

Interested in the fork. is it threaded and how much? I need to check my existing one...
not a player yet, but building a polo bike so I can play. the shite frame I have has massive rake, which is apparently a bad thing... -

Start playing and tweak the bike as you go - you can't build a 'perfect' polo bike without playing!

You are the reason I need the space!
Well - not actually YOU, but you know what I mean.

700c fork
straight rake fork?
I can haz? -
• #463
No idea what the rake is but you're welcome to them. None of this stuff is really going to be any good to someone looking to improve their current setup - it's more to get someone rolling if they wanted to play.
I need rid though so it's give it away or leave it outside...

• #464
Ah fair do's. Will stick with my bendy one. Thanks anyway.

I can haz? What do you need, Wicksie? I've got a 1' threaded MTB fork you can have for a fiver (if nny doesn't want it, that is)... There wasn't enough steerer on it for my bike...

Cheers Joe. I don't 'need' anything, just fancied the idea of a fork upgrade to a straight rake.
I should probably save my cash for my new flat that has no, like none, furniture though.
Cheers anyway mate. -

I just came upon an old MTB frame and its got me a thinkin...Yeah, I've got them on the bike... They're cheap and cheerful... I'm having more problems finding a hub that won't strip at the moment... 3 in less than 6 months, including a Phil... :[
Another setback... -
