snoops, tell me again how you measure lacrosse gloves? interested in your ones..
-
• #4205
One measures lacrosse gloves from the tip of the middle-finger to the wrist. 13" is the adult male size. If you have average-sized adult male hands these will fit, if they are pushing large-sized hands then they might be a little tight like they are on me.
13" is Large, but I'd say these are M/L.

• #4206
wow, your hands are 13" long!?!
-
• #4207
ha! no wonder they didn't fit. Isn't it to the elbow? My hands are medium-small and these gloves fit me real nice
-
• #4208
it's finger tip to start of your lacrosse elbow pad - which i guess is about half way down the forearm?
-
• #4209
13 inch fits me fine too i'm about 8 inchs tip to wrist.

I'm looking for a freewheel, my current gearing is 32-20 but i think i'd like to go lower (32-19). I'm not sure if I should get a 20t then buy a larger chain-ring or 19t and stick with 32t. Does anyone have a decent freewheel in either of these sizes? or a link? thanks
-
• #4222
32-19 is perfect for 700c IMO. Chainrings are cheaper than freewheels but 33-20 is a lower gearing than 32-19. Go 135 on the back, use a trials hub and then you can pick and choose your gearing easily, take a few options when you go away for massive courts and tiny ones.

higher = "harder", hence top gear is the one where you go furthest per revolution.
32/19 is a higher gear than 32/20.
For a 35mm tyre on a 622mm rim, 32/19 is just below 46 gear inches, which seems at the upper end of current polo trend. 32/20 is about 43.5 GI. 33/20 would be 45 GI.

Yes, one implies the other but my main point was the actual numbers demonstrating how much extra inchage is involved.
Bike Polo. Grass Bike Polo. Fixeh Polo.
