I'm looking for some Avid single digit 7 brakes and maybe some 1.35" durano/kojak tyres, if anyone's getting rid of some of these anytime let me know.

I've got some spare sheets of plain black corex (4mm, I think) going spare... 666mm x 1000mmm, enough for two disks... £2... Hit me up...
Cross-posted from wheels thread, got a few sheets left so get at me... Cheap as chips...

paul i have a kojak, and i also have a durano, the durano you can have, but you'll need to 'boot' it. The kojak is hardly used but cheap... i htink its 1.5 though

Thanks for the offer B, I'm not sure if 1.5 will fit the clearances on the frame, the 2.0 that's on the wheel atm barely lets the wheel into the dropouts. How bad a state is the durano in? I'll let you know when I'm next coming to polo, but it might be a while.

Ha, I'll try and exert some self control... maybe let the tyres down just to make sure.

Had the same thing with my durano, and snotty otter complained on facebook to them (not about durano, but same make).. They suggested a warranty job. (although I saw this the day after I threw mine away)...
-
• #3970
really? Did snots get a replacement?
-
• #3971
I had the wire/kevlar/whatever come apart and pierce it's way through into the inner tube on a Kojak. I sent them an email (couldn't find proof of purchase) and they asked me to post it to them, sent a replacement with a couple of tubes to cover the cost of posting it there.

andy can you send me the address and which dept?
I contacted them through this form first: http://www.schwalbe.co.uk/contact-us/ explaining that I didn't have the receipt and couldn't take it to the shop, offering to send photos and asking what the best way to proceed was. I don't remember it having the line about not accepting warranty issues though and I don't remember the warranty page saying this...
WARRANTY PROCEDURE
We stand by the quality on all of our products.
If you feel that your product is a warranty issue then please return it to the seller for inspection with proof of delivery.
If your product is deemed to be faulty then we will replace it free of charge through the seller.
**We do not accept tyres returned to us at Schwalbe UK and we cannot issue direct replacements to consumers from our warehouse.
**
Our retail partners will provide you with the quickest and most efficient returns service. Will try and dig through my email and see if I still have the postal address/email tonight
