Finding geo on this bike is a nightmare. Even the distributor can't find deets on the 2005-08 frames.
Luca, what fork worked best for you in terms of no jackknife/wheel flopping? I am going to have to get a fork, I work in a bike shop so I may as well get it as polo-specific as possible. Was going to order a fork for the dynatech before it started making funky noises but I know that frame, and 90's XC frames, quite well.
I have no idea what would or wouldnt work on a jump frame. Help me out guys?

i used a tuff guy fork all year, worked very well. (pictured above) but then again i was using a 35mm stem. i was thinking of getting some plug forks (or something similar) and modding them to make them 0 rake, just because i could and see the results.
also i am bringing it to polo tonight and going to clean up the BB thread. hopefully not to much damage has been done. it looks ok.

Oh my god James, this is going to be such an improvement on your current bike.

so properly analysed the BB thread. on the left side there is thread which is left from the old bb (the lockring snapped off) people said this is not very hard to sort? drill it a little and it falls off?
-
• #2684
can't you just chase the threads
-
• #2685
i dont know.. is that the easiest way?

Thanks Luca, I think I'll go for some identiti rebat parks maybe... have to look up info.
Don't worry too much about the BB shell, I've rescued many seized in and screwed threaded bb shells. Helps working in a well equipped bikeshop with excellent mechanics :)

cheap alternatives to ariones are planet x and cboardman.
Obviously Arione users will see you a mile off. But they are the cheapest way to do it.

Joni, do you want those grips you told me you would buy or not?
-
• #2699
Yes please Snoops, sorry, I still want them. I can Paypal you if you like? Not sure when I'll see you next.
Or if there's anyone who's northy and Southey that could get these for me and I'll repay you the £5 (?) ? and beer?
Luca, what colour is the frame? I've a bit of time in the shop so I may as well start dreaming a build together.
