Posting their own item in polo ebay finds for something which doesnt look like a polo related ebay find to me. Maybe I am wrong
-
• #2385
Probably because it's his own listing. (I dunno if the polo specific ebay thread has same rules as the general forum one)...to slow.
-
• #2386
seperate rules here, you can post your own stuff (or so I have understood)
-
• #2387
You can post your own stuff, but it seems a bit close to spamming if it's not actualy going to be very useful. Which covers this one.
I thought it was a bit fail too, but didn't want to bring further attention to it so didn't comment.
But now I have, reasons why it shouldn't have been posted:
It's fixed
32 spoke wheels
Wrong brakes
If it's actually valuable it prob shouldn't be used in polo unless it's actually made for polo
It's already more than I think it would be worth as a Polo bike.
Relatively high rake forksReasons why it might be good:
Horizontal dropouts -

It does looke like a nice frame, I wouldnt use it for polo though
-
• #2389
Yeah no comment about it as a bike off the court, I know nothing about how good it is on the road, but i don't think it would make a good polo bike without replacing all most all the parts.

Not polo specific as such:
MKS Sylvan pedals, silver
BLB double straps, white
BLB double bridge, double gate cages, silverWell used, and the bolts that hold the cages to one of the pedals are missing, but otherwise in good working order. Worth about £50 new (at BLB hipster tax prices), yours for £10.

Size Large Bauer 4500 Helmet with upgraded FM8500L True Vision face cage. This isn't the standard cage that snoops has with his. It's the next one up. The bars are oval which increases viability. Basically, it's better than Rupert's helmet. And it's black. I mean, come on, who wants a navy blue helmet?
Used condition, but its still good. Doesn't smell and no major dents or fractures. 5 months use.
£30 - Can bring to Cambridge this weekend.

^ I might be interested, are you based in London? Any chance I could have a try on?
-
• #2394
The oval technology on that FM8500L True Vision face cage, is brilliant.
That is a bargain for a great helmet/cage combo.
What you replacing it with, Chandra?

• #2395
Mycro lite, same as Erin's. Strange sizing though, medium fits like a Bauer large on the smallest setting.
-
• #2396
So my large would be like a large, on a smaller setting. God my head is enormous.
-
• #2397
Jesus! You've got the large one?
-
• #2398
yep.. pretty sure i have the same size head as gabes and jono (maybe not jono, his is like 62cm or something crazy).
-
• #2400
Chan, I will give that a try at the weekend if it's still available.
