This sounds fucking superb. I'm in. (Although I seem to have a NCT class that night - time to get negotiating!)

RAPSAC was telling me about this last night.
I am so unbelievably in.Probably on the polo bike.

You are so dumb, I have removed myself from your fakebook fan page....
it's all off road innit.
you'll need a front brake if fixed and not unsurprisingly lights too......and helmet.
-
• #6
Yeah sounds like a great event. I'm in.......the tent heckling.
-
• #7
If it it comes together as we plan we might put the hurdles in the tent section, cue: "do a bunny hop!"

Holla Holla, I got the email about this last night whilst drunk and got very excited indeed.

You won't need a bidon Jim, you can just have someone hand you up a fresh pint of lovely, lovely cider on each lap.

Fixed, Front and rear brakes. Fat grippy tyres. Good light setup. Helmet.Check check checkity check.
The alternative was my SS mountain bike but that somehow seems a little un-sporting.
You are so dumb

yes -

Splendid, having never ridden the Herne Hill Cyclo-cross track I presume that a 30lb bike with 4" travel would be ideal for the punishing terrain?

• #23
what about a trails bike?

This is such an awesome idea for a race. I have cross bike, knobbly tyres, lights and a helmet. I even have a disc brake on the front. And I live five minutes ride from Herne Hill. Can't wait!

I'd suggest that 6" of travel and a triple crown fork are needed to avoid certain death.
