It's amazing, isn't it? We literally had this conversation yesterday about people climbing up and stealing shit off balconies ... I can't believe i didn't lock them up better after that, but I just never expected it.

Saying that, i did specifically add bike cover to our insurance last year, so at least the value is covered. Now to find some receipts for parts.

sorry to hear about this iain. i think greasy has a point, a neighbours balcony would be my focus. have your neighbours been broken into? or, also relevant, are you neighbours a wee bit dodgy?

I'm not around on Sunday, which is why Pique very very kindly offered to go have a look for my nicked bikes. If anyone can check out all pictures of recently posted bikes on the stolen thread before they head to Brick Lane, i'm sure it would be doing everyone an amazing service.

I'm checking gumtree and ebay all the time now ... each time i come home i'm waiting to find that they've been back to steal the other bits and pieces of crap bike bits still on the balcony. To be honest, it's almost worth it in the hope that they'd fall off this time.
