  • Yas, are you making a habit of this? Hope you survived.

  • yup, i have to stop. no more skidding for me.

  • On my way to the shops last saturday, Old Kent Road... I know, WAC, etc... No damage, all fine at the end...

  • I was chatting to Oli the other day about how your drawings are ace and we don't see enough of them. I feel I summoned this incident from the ether. Sorry.

  • one of the best yet
i fear plastic bags blowing around on the street, as i imagine this scenario happening

the dude needs to crash more often

  • Good work vello!

  • Not enough scrouick

  • Nice one, Loïc. 'Scrouick' sounds as if it's straight from Franquin (perhaps it is).

NB in my comment I meant 'more drawings, please', not 'more crashes, please'. :)

  • If crashes lead to drawings then it's a sacrifice I'm willing for him to make.

  • is that brave or 6pt holding up traffic at the front on the other side of the road?

  • Best ever looking collision ever !

Hope you didn't break any groceries.

  • I am now going to shout 'Geronimo' when I fall or have a run-in with a bad driver.

  • Best ever looking collision ever !

Hope you didn't break any groceries.

I did the same trying to turn across a bustling road into traffic with groceries dangling. A 2 litre bottle of milk was the casualty. Went everywhere, was hot weather too. Imagine it smelled colourful later that day.

  • I used to regularly spray Brixton Road with soya milk, Maltesers, breakfast cereals, my own blood on one occasion...then I got panniers.

  • Excellent drawings Vello. I like how your hat began hovering early, almost as if it knew what was coming

  • you rowhaned yourself? do you have an amazing list of excuses and people to blame for running into a stationary object?

just realised who was the first person to post on this page as well...

heal up fast but please be careful

  • Oh, Yasi ...

    Have you considered cycle training?

Hope it's not a bad injury!

    Heal up fast.

    again...

    heal up fast!

Ha, i was tipsy and the cycle lanes have scaffolding in and there were ilegaly parked cars under the bridge on both sides so traffic at to share same strip of road so i emergency braked in a pothole. i am daft.

i have had cycle training and i managed to fall off then :(

    Heal up fast.

    again...

    heal up fast!

    thanks :)

  • i had drunk 6 pints but had water and iostonic drinks so was sober and the cycle lanes have scaffolding in, the lighting was bad and there were ilegaly parked dark (racist) cars under the bridge on both sides, people were stripping at the side of the road, there were other cars and road users which were distracting me and it was a strava segment so i was trying to race through. in no way was it my fault.

    oh yashan

  • Oh Yasi x10!

The bridge at Finsbury Park station? It's horrible under there at the moment. They've put those stupid temporary speed bumps only half way across the road so the oncoming traffic swerves into your lane to go round them, not nice having the cars coming at you head on, even had a police car do it to me once.

  • Hi Matt, yeah its really awfull and it doesnt help when there ar cars parked on both sides too
