I was going to write some sort of harangue about both of you falling into "this forum is full of hipsters and yet you are all hipsters" trap. But I can't be arsed, get over yourselves, on this forum we ride bikes, most of them fixed, but not all. Long rides, short rides, rides over mountains, rides along canals.

How about calling it 'build your own' - what you get isn't a bike, but instructions on how to source a suitable frame, bits and put it together on a budget. You could nick all the info off here. You'd probably make even more money doing that.
