Ill go down there today and have a word with him. If there's nothing on in the gallery then maybe we could have it in the yard. Get a bit of segregation going! Plus i think you could probably get away with turning one of the speakers toward the door out the back.
Damn, there goes my psy-trance DJ slot then ;-)
Trance is a sure way to ruin my birthday.

so what's the deal with the sounds then? -
• #34
They've had noise complaints, mostly as he has two big ex studio monitors pointing down a tunnel towards his neighbours. We're trying to rearrange that.

play love songs and other things to placate the neighbours.

I am NOT funky.
BTW, tell your lady that I still haven't spotted her. I feel bad for ditching on a chance to play some tunes (I just got a load of Sarah Vaughn) and hang out with folk, but I'll hopefully get another chance.
-

that's a shame. i like Sarah Vaughn
but not being stalked by somebody holding a digital camera and a clipboard while listening/drinking/socialising -
• #43
Nhatt! I was looking forward to your set.
It's Sarah Vaughan (with an a) btw, I am a bit sensitive about it as it is also my surname :) -
• #44
Veevee, I figured I was spelling it wrong, but I even googled it and so many people had spelled it wrong before me that it didn't clock it.
I understand about sensitivity to spelling, I try not to be sensitive about my name (the weird letter in it IS mostly silent) but hat being referred to as Natalie. -

eh?
Someone happened to mention they were looking for tricksters.
Loads of bike people in one place.
two birds and a stone.
How come Bright Times always brings out the most precious of folk?
-
• #48
and what's wrong with Peckham by the way?
-
• #49
Didn't really know where peckham was, figured it out now and it would have been so bad.
I explained my position better to someone in a PM, but basicly I'm really sick of casting rubbish and entertainment companies trying to sell shit on the back of my passions. Every year they contact moving taget to try and get those lovable urban scum (the courier) to help them sell whatever flavour of the month they happen to be pawning on the mental midgets of society, and it irritates the fuck out of me.
I just don't feel like I can deal with it on my only properly relaxed day of the week.
