I've been going down to the Arch recently, really enjoying it.

What are the recommended options for climbing shorts - ideally below the knee - as I managed to split the £6 piece of shit cheap cargo shorts I had on yesterday. Apologies if anyone happened to be looking up.

I don't wear climbing-specific shorts indoors, but I've got some other pieces from Moon and they're pretty good: http://www.moonclimbing.com/men/pants-and-shorts.html

+1 for Moon. Got some of their trousers. Love the zip-close (and then button) pockets so stuff doesn't fall out. Plenty of room in the crotch for those high feet.

Depends what the wall's made of. Your safest bet is finding the wooden uprights inside a partition wall.
