Araya clinchers

I'm about to splash some dough on Araya's, the choices are between
AR-713

TR-712

RC-540

RS-430

Any suggestions/experience?

I've got the AR 713's

Prices start at £96(shipped) for the 430's... and go up to £140(shipped) for the 540's

the RC-540 seemed like a weight weenies, 415g.

trying to use correct component for your bike?

i know.... even though the all black of the 430's always made my day.... remind me (in a way) of Omega 19's

I love DA hubs... going on the RAP .... so could do it all Japanese.

carbon tubs, I thought you were on about alu clincher rims!

The lightest clincher rim I know of in current production is the IRC Niobium Road rim, which is 390g.

I'm almost 14 stone... need something reliable, for London roads.

any rims should be strong enough providing they're build wells, I used to ride both 28h and was 16 stones.

edit: the 2 frames from japan cost me £38 and £47 of customs at the central depot!!!!!!!!
