  • any one who was at my wedding should remember Mary making "trailer park sunrise" red kool aid, vodka, tequila, orange squash and cheap pineapple juice.

After drinking that getting married really did seem like a good idea.

  • Best 'cocktail' I ever made was a 'dad's booze cupboard raid' concoction, rum/whisky/vodka/port/sherry/ouzo/blue sapphire/gin mixed together in a volvic bottle, me and a friend were found comatosed in the middle of Kingston town centre by mates who we were supposed to meet. The folly of youth

I'm glad I'm still young enough to make follies.

  • Oh man.. I remember those.. my god were they horrible..

  • Get me trying to sound old and wistful, I make follies on an hourly basis :D

  • Oh man.. I remember those.. my god were they horrible..

Did the trick though no? ;)

  • Hurrah got the music working carries on drinking

  • Actually the actual best cocktail was pure fluke, at a cocktail party no less. The guy who was mixing had run out of stuff to mix all the cocktails he knew, cue me, having sampled all of the aforementioned known cocktails, twice "Yeah mate, there's one I know how to do with what you've got there" I started pouring various measure's of whatever was A. a nice colour, and B. over 40%, I ended up with a bright green mixture "Yeah I've known about this one for ages, it's called The Incredible Hulk". It was sampled by a few people and generally agreed to be fucking tasty, I started making them for people (the actual cocktail guy was not impressed at all) on a 'one for you, one for me' basis. That lasted about 20 mins before I went outside for a good multicoloured puke.

  • Fruit Tingle Cocktail ()
    For one serve:

    • 1 nip of vodka
    • 1 nip of blue curacao
    • 1 nip of grenadine (or red cordial)
    • lemonade

    Method:
Put the vodka, blue curacao, and grenadine into a V shaped cocktail glass and top with lemonade. Decorate the side of the glass with colorful fruit slices! Cheers!

  • The words on this page are currently a littl ebit blurry.

  • everything was blurred at 4 am. tough night? rumour has it that one of my friends went to hospital last night because of excess. rawkus yoof.

  • Alcohol:

After 20 odd years of drinking more than most of you could manage, I cut down last year and eventually quit, while I don't think everyone should be teetotal, there seems to be an inability in our society to enjoy alcoholic drinks for the taste and rather to use them as a shortcut to temporary midlessness, I do think that the extremes of heavy drinking do you no good. Maybe if people enjoyed their day-to-day lives a bit more they wouldn't feel the need to "get bladdered" on a friday and saturday night?

  • "After 20 odd years of drinking more than most of you could manage"

Yeah yeah.. "I was well 'ard and now I wear a frilly pink blouse."

Maybe.. but that would require massive amounts of life changing and sacrifice and getting wankered is far easier.

  • I'm coming round right now, you better make sure you have milk in the fridge.

whilst alcohol/drug abuse is nothing new i would like to see figures showing the extent of the problem. it may be that it is now much more available as there are more bars/nightclubs open more, and that it is can be bought very cheaply. but there are wider issues that may have contributed, such as a century of warfare (possibly unmatched before in terms of loss of life?) creating a society in which people feel let down by those in authority (not that they weren't before, just that it is now so blatant). governments create an atmosphere of apathy in which people are not encouraged to think beyond their immediate social sphere and so getting wasted (not that it isn't fun once in a while) may be a way to escape their feeling of insignificance. to give it a pseudo-socio-political spin.

  • A personal favorite of my fathers - makes you anything but

be interested to see the ingredients and if it's real perry with none of the crap added. jumping to conclusions and being my usual cycnical self it looks like a snazzy bottle with added piss.

  • "Ice Dagger" is my latest invention:
Ice + Bulmers apple cider + Wyborowa (plain until I get some apple to test the mix) because drinker Bulmers alone isn't upfucking enough.

Stick with Zubrowka and Apple juice with Vodka shot chasers.

  • Guinness + Baileys = Win

  • my favourite homemade cocktail was frozen zubrowka in a shot glass, topped with flaming absinthe, and knocked back in synchronisation. 3 of those babys and all kinds of trouble ensues...

  • Guinness +Tia Maria = Win

    Fixed.

  • Hippy you might have tried this a shot glass of Krupnik light it let it warm up then quickly drink the contents through a straw, best done in the dark for more effect.
