was crossing kew bridge cycling next to another bike when a van started beeping at me, the lights ahead were red so I could see no point in racing to have to stop. I look back and he now starts shouting and beeping.

as he wants a discussion I stop and ask him what his problem was. he immediately starts swearing at me.

I stand in front and he then tries to ram me, 3 times he tried to hit me and I had to get out of his way.

I take details of the company, and call them up. they just called to say the driver denies the complete incident.

watch out for m&j seafod delivery vans. they can take no action as I did not have a witness. the company were v apologetic but cannot fire him when its one persons word against another.

Sounds horrible James. Amazing how many people on the road are simultaneosly thick and malicious. Console yourself with the thought that he might get a bollocking - if karma has anything to with it!

mouse, tell me about it. I do seem to attract trouble, though part of it is due to my general ethic in life - be nice to me and I am nice back, mess with me and I will return the favour with extra force.

zed has commented before at how pleasant I am to people who give way etc and that I also let other road users out etc. he was expecting me to be aggressive but if people play fair with me I will be lovely back.

There is a good chance that a majority in his office do not care for/take seriously the complaint of some cyclist.
By wasting the time of their back office staff they may just ask their drivers to be more careful as it isn't worth the hassle.
If a gang of people rang in it may impress upon them the seriousness with which the matter is viewed.
