  • I scour the streets for every interesting bike, traffic permitting. Yours would stand out ;)

Shall we say this Sunday, 1300 meet at Albert Clock? Will that work?
    Or another time?

As if we do want a group cycle this Sunday, have to get organized.

  • The problem with me is I'm always changing bikes haha. Theres a list of about 8 I could be seen on! I'll try and stick to a smaller selection from now on :)

That sounds good for me, but any time and any place suits me on sunday so if it needs changed for someone else that suits me too!

    Good plan!

  • Sounds good

1300 at the big fish on Sunday?

I think I've a few others interested too

  • @jewsef unwrapped bars?

Was that the black one that was locked up around lunch time in Anne street?

    Yours?

  • Excellent! Anybody and preference of route/distance?

  • Holywood/dirty duck and back. Easy pace. Nice chilled out Sunday ride?

  • Sounds good to me. I've never been there before haha.

  • Me either but it seems a nice run out. It'll be an adventure

  • @jewsef unwrapped bars?

    Yours?

Nah, was a bike I see up the tow path behind central station from time to time. Redish frame, sliver drops non wrapped.

Also I've seen two spokes about Belfast both front wheels, one black one white. Anyone on here

  • What do you ride yourself Jewsef?

Does anybody know of any small bike shops or people in Northern Ireland that have Bottom bracket facing/chasing/chamfering equipment?

  • Kinning cycles at the bottom of castlereagh rd chased and faced a bb for me after getting my frame reprinted. You could always check with the guys at velo cafe magasin too

already met you a few times adam jewsef = joseph ie. Joe red white and blue flanders :)

been riding a track frame in fakie mode s2c for utter win. Not sure if I can make it this weekend by might show my face on sunday

  • Haha oops, sorry. I have a simply awful memory, especially with names!

Hoping for a quick spin over to decathlon for spare tubes later if anyone is at a loose end and wants to join.

  • So are we on for tomorrow?

Weather is for rain showers but doesn't look like it'll be too bad*

    *not a qualified meteorologist

  • Heard rain too which may be issue but I'm around.

  • Excellent. It's Northern Ireland. What did we expect? Just depends on what grade of rain we get. 1: normal everyday rain - 5: biblical end of the world rain

  • Yep, one to five on the rain scale are perfectly acceptable riding conditions. It's when it reaches #6 - Northern Ireland summers day rain, that it becomes too heavy for a bicycle!

  • Haha. Hopefully we can avoid that

  • Drizzling hard to rain ATM

We will probably have sun by 12.30 and then get bouncing rain halfway in the ride ;)

  • Sounds about right

  • Haha, I like the optimism that we will start with sun ;)

Going to try tan wall tyres on my green bike for the day! See how she looks :D

  • Angrybee, very nice to meet you today (I owe you a pint)

Nice of the peelers to show up a d make sure we weren't breaking any speed limits

  • And you Wheel or no wheel! I look forward to the next one.

Haha it was! though hopefully they don't upset our street racing plans ;)

  • I was told in work today the promenade continues on most of the way if not all the way to Bangor. Thinking of going further out this week to crawfordsburn

  • Sounds like a plan to me. Could be quite a distance to go with no 'refreshments' though. Perhaps we need some sort of on the go ale delivery system?
