nollaig we're usually away around 6 on a wednesday i'm afraid. admittedly there is a lot of shooting-the-breeze, bike-tweakage etc before we finally get our arses in gear, but it's usually 6.
i know a lot of us use strava which you can get as a free app for the basic version. most of us tend to use it for our road bikes though.
if you guys are free monday, this is on...

OOooooooh politics!

Just wondered if I may have met any of youse at the jaunt.
I'm Dutch and been in Sunny Belfast nearly 11 years...glittery red mixte, blue 26" touring bike and crappy Raleigh with child seat. Ow and brown cycling cap with long blonde 80s rocker style hair.
If we can to go political your opportunity to make "ah you're Dutch, so you know King Billy...." jokes is now :)
(sorry angrybee don't recognise your bike...)

lols politics are the best, and my not living in n.i is irrelevant! 50% of my bikes are still there so im still technically there!
-
• #140
50%? Who rides them when you're away?
And do you trust them? ;)
-
• #141
Fixed ;)
OOooooooh politics!
Not fixed as he never lived in IRELAND to the best of my knowledge ;)
That bike is very recent, I'm most commonly riding a red/white Massi racer with a SS kit on it (DMR tensioner)

Would there be any interest in a wee spin around Belfast some evening/weekend if we got enough interest?
-
• #144
I am up for it, can probably interest Le Manfriend too.
-
• #145
Excellent! I meant to say we're not limited to Belfast but I'll leave route planning to someone else. What would the easiest way to organize it be? Also what level of rain is acceptable to ride in (I thought aiming for dryness was a bit too ambitious never mind sunshine and heat!)
-
• #146
I am kinda stuck in Belfast but rain hardy and so is Le Manfriend as we cycling all year round. Not that there are dry days here, got a lovely shower this morning going to work, and rest of the day is was dry. Always the way lol

No problemo! Are there many members on here from 'Norn Iron' that you know of? It would be brilliant to assemble a decent sized group.
-
• #148
I'm a Belfast child and that reference gives away both my age and poor taste in music!
-
• #149
Haha! A bit of simple minds? Would you like to join this potential spin?
-

Yeah why not long as there's room for the unfit and over forty!
Would a Saturday or Friday around 6.30 suit? Any time Saturday or Sunday. I could make it to custom house on Wednesday at 6.30? Perhaps a morning would suit? There is a few apps that are good for mapping your journey. this could be good for time trials around the city. I'll set one and I'll post my results a screen shot with map on google maps.
