what's the problem with the pitlocks?
Long story short: A few of us have managed to undo them with a couple of flat-head screwdrivers and any other tool to use as a lever. They're more deterrent than security.

:(
Good luck in your future endeavours Will. One of the best traders ever. -

Real shame to see Will close it down, as others have said great personal service that was always prompt.

Most mechanics I've ever worked with have known how to undo Pitlocks this way as have a fair few others.

Always been a pleasure buying from Hubjub - the notes I got were always such a nice touch.
Good luck in the future Will!
-
• #81
Best of luck Will. Thanks for the great service.

• #82
I don't believe in Will from Hubjub, so can't comment.
-
• #83
I only ever bought 1 item from Hubjub, but it was a lovely experience.
Good luck in the future Will.
-
• #84
That is indeed a shame.
HubJub have always given me fantastic service and even if it's sold, I can't imagine anyone else being as much of a pleasure to deal with and buy from as Will.
I wish him all the best with his future ventures.

• #85
Shame!
Good luck Will. -
• #86
I've bought all sorts. From a half-link for my 1st fixed conversion to Nitto bling and countless DA lockrings (where do they go?).
It's always been a real pleasure. Best of luck with the new stuff.

Such a nice guy and excellent service, wish I'd known earlier how good HubJub is.
All the best with the future Will -

Gutted. I've exchanged numerous email with Will about all sorts over the years and his help for the bullshit with my Level hubs was invaluable- really went the extra mile.
Good luck Will

Will and Hubjub will be sorely missed.
By far the most helpful guy I have ever bought components from.
-
• #91
What is he going to do now - it might be something of interest - hes already proven his customer service skills. I am sure people would be happy to keep putting cash money his way.
-
• #92
Yep, Will was always totally helpful and the little messages in each order were awesome. Good luck, Will!

Damn wish HubJub was around now...

Will is having a fire sale at http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Hubjub-Nights/
In good news, he also has a buyer... but the fire sale details first, he's giving first refusal to forumengers:
Hi chaps,
Will from Hubjub again, reposted via David. It seems likely that Hubjub has found a buyer in the shape of the excellent HeartOfWalesBikes.com, so it should still be possible for you to continue sourcing Nitto, Phil etc bits via David, Drew and the team. Meanwhile, I'm getting that promised sale together.
This is the first of two messages, and it details all the former 'over the counter' stock. An eBay sale is scheduled to start on Thursday night. (Eagle-eyed LFGSS.com members might have spotted that a bunch of stuff popped up briefly on eBay on Monday afternoon while I was getting the shop configured, and that I've already begun selling Oury grips.)
Since LFGSS.com have been such strong supporters of the business, I thought I'd give members first refusal. The listing below shows what's available along with the proposed Buy It Now price and UK postage. All items are BNIB unless otherwise stated. If you can i. contact me via sales@hubjub.co.uk and ii. pay the PayPal invoice I will then send you before 1430 on Thursday 12, I will pull the item from the eBay sale and mail it to you on Friday or Monday.
There isn't time to haggle, so if you can't or don't want to meet the Buy It Now price the best bet is to participate in the eBay auction (only a few items are Buy It Now only). Also, I can't deal with cheques, POs, cash, overseas buyers or personal visitors, so please don't write about these. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it will take a huge amount of work to conclude the sale and I have more than enough on my plate already.
I'll be posting a second listing of obscure spares and such shortly.
