Best Live Band of all time?

in my day, we got up before we went to bed, got beaten up by two dozen bouncers ........ etc.

My bro totally rates the Fall gigs for the same reasons mentioned - even now there's always a proper uneasy vibe going on that has a unique energy.

Got to say I rate The Fall musically, some of the stuff is wicked. Bag of its own.

I reckon Steely Dan have to be up there... can't remember who the drummer was on their last tour but he fucking destroyed the place. So awesome.

Bjork get points for having a coat which streamers shot out of and Seasick Steve gets points for when i saw him at the boardwalk and he walked through the crowd serenading several people (including me :-s)

@ dicki - much lower to horizontal in some places!

Also one of the best live performances I've ever seen was Erykah B at Brixton about five years ago, it was flipping astral.

best live gig i've ever been to was joanna newsom and the Ys street band at the barbican with the LSO. there are no words. fucking stunning. i get moist eyed just thinking about it.
