  • Stunning but you need Brooks bartape and toestraps.

    boo, hiss!

  • My friend bought a new 1963 Triumph Bonneville with a white tank for £369 9/11. Mentioned for relativity.

  • Brooks straps now fitted bump

  • joe, i think you have done a great job. very very nice bike.......any pictures of how it used to look?

  • yep, this is what it looked like pre resto:

  • Joe: Get an accurate quote for shipping/insurance to japan, OZ or the US where you're more likely to get that kind of money, to include in any eBay listing. And possibly translate it into japanese too! Hope you get what you want for it.

  • Just checked and Babelfish do translations into Japanese so its a goer! Probably going to put on the bay today. What do you reckon auction with reserve or a high BIN with best offer?

  • I don't know. I reckon a high reserve just pisses people off, guessing games.

  • hmm, true but don't want to risk it going for fuck all. I'll have a ponder

  • Maybe just put a high enough asking price on it that you won't be hard done by, say £750. It'd look like a good deal at that price, and could attract more than one bidder. Also, you could pull it up to 24 hours before, say on your listing that interested bidders should bid before one day away or it will be pulled.

Remember, if dogsballs was here, he'd be telling you that just because you might have spent a grand on it, it doesn't make it worth a grand. Sad but true.

  • I reckon it'll go for that to some old beardy collector type with too much time/money on his hands... Best of luck with the sale, Joe... :]

  • just off to change my underwear.

  • stunning :)

  • book that holiday joe its nearly up to a monkey and its only been on for a day

  • Hello! it was at 113 last time I looked, now 515!

  • book that cruise ill bid on it to 600 for you now and watch them chase

  • Hmm, I wonder what could be finishing in the morning...

  • you have done the bike proud Joe, i bet its ecstatic with its new lease of life (as we all know bikes have souls). well done. don't know how you can part with it after all that work. i would be too attached...... you will get a tidy sum, so i guess that will help.......

  • let us know what your next project is joe

  • Well, I've had to cancel that fucking cruise!

  • Shes a stunner... wow

  • just one thing joe, why did you change the front brake?
