Think I've said it before but Non Non Biyori is a great anime. I only made it part of the way through the 'Repeat' series.
I'll be researching soon!

Anyone checked out the new Evangelion 3.0+1.0?

just started watching the films yesterday, seems good. The change in voice actors annoyed me at first but I think I'm used to it now.

I haven’t actually watched any of the new ones yet, always waited to watch them all together. Hadn’t ever thought there was new voice actors yes a little getting used too!

watche the trailer for the Evangelion and it looks good. is it worth recaping by watching the others before?

It’s standalone so you could go straight into them, but it’s always a good time watching the originals, there is also a few differences with the original airing and the directors cut for a few episodes.

Might have to investigate these having watched all the originals in the last year.

It’s only a few episodes 20-22 I believe but they do change the context for the ending slightly and then you also have the end of evanglion film!

Started watching Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Not as taken as Gundam or Macross per say, will have to finish now started tho.

Was an answer on University Challenge last night, and Paxman mispronounced Evengelion.

I thought the cicadas were quaint at first.

Pissing me off now.

I dimly remember it being explained that, due to First Impact, Japan's climate is perpetually summer hence all the cicadas. And everyone looking sweaty all the time.

Just brought a load of my old manga back up to London, will be looking at selling a lot of my 1st issues of series I never continued with and some randoms thrown in. Probably about 30 volumes in total? Will let them go in a bundle for a decent price of anyone’s interested will upload some pics later!

Dead Leaves is a fairly short and pretty tripped out anime movie, worth a watch!

Some more manga to offload to anyone that’s interested. Rosario+Vampire 1-10(season 1) and the first of the second season. Collection SE15 make me an offer!
