who dropped out?

another option should be for those not given a chance to qualify, please.
-
• #4
The team who got 5th

another option should be for those not given a chance to qualify, please.
That's covered under option 2. -
• #6
I vote Option 2.
-
• #7
Any other options? I don't think we have time to run another mini-qualifier
But teams who couldn't make the qualifiers should have the opportunity to play the 5th placed team?
-
• #8
Are the team who came 5th still a team?
I vote option 2. -
• #9
Nes's team from MCR dropped out. She's hurt and can't find a whole team to play. I think Freaky Sexx got fifth.
Sarah: I'm happy to put that option down, but can you propose a way to sort our the tourney?
-
• #10
Let's give ourselves some time here to sort out the options, and then we can post a formal vote with a 48 hour deadline. Or something like that.
-
• #11
So what happened to Birmingham? Nes offered the spot to them first.
-
• #12
But I don't think it should be a tourney! Just whoever feels they've missed out by not having a chance to qualify (i.e. all 4 spots given away before letting half the community play) should set up a game against the 5th placed team :)

• #13
I agree Sarah.
Whoever wants a shot at the Euros should declare it here and they can play to win. -
• #14
1) The team that took fifth place in the qualifers
2) A team to be decided by community vote
3) Whoever feels they've missed out by not having a chance to qualify should set up a game against the 5th placed team?Any other options?

;833320']So what happened to Birmingham? Nes offered the spot to them first.
Nes emailed me and said that if I had not heard from Birmingham I should give the spot to London. I had not heard from Birmingham. Then Mike contacted Birmingham and they said it's very unlikely they will play, but they would ask around again. Then I got an email from Iain saying that he spoke with Roxy and she said that I was supposed to give the spot to London. I did as instructed.

i think it should quite clearly be the 14 year old moustaches... promoting londons youth and that...
-
• #17
I think the team with the most controversial name should be let through.
GO JiHaD!
(Or the crowds favourite?)
;) -

option 3 sound good, but has to be decide (play) this saturday
if not
option 2
-
• #19
Los Conos should play - they will beat a lot of people and shock the foreign teams who don't expect a girls team to be so good.
-
• #20
so Yorgo, option 2.
-
• #21
option 2
...los conos, but don't put them in our group :) -
• #22
This is great news!
Option 3.

• #23
option 2
...los conos, but don't put them in our group :):)

Yep, option 3 sounds like a good one.

5th place team in the qualifiers or Los Conos.
One place in the Euros has become available. It’s been offered to a London team, to be decided by the London Polo Community. We need to decide very quickly.
I guess we should have a quick vote.
The spot should go to:
1) The team that took fifth place in the qualifers
2) A team to be decided by community vote
Any other options? I don't think we have time to run another mini-qualifier, such as was discussed during the co-ed team discussion. But this is open to discussion too.
